Default DXM - The Movie

There was a thread here a minute ago and now it has just disappeared! Just POOF! and there goes my tenure. It was the one where Steve brought us up to date on his present condition and his intentions to renew his experiments with it. And then I chimed in to say that I had been thinking similar thoughts and outlined my own plan of action. There was a lot more but now it is gone! Fini! Kaput!

KayMar (the new generic for any staff angel that will listen), is there any way to salvage the thread. And could you tell me what I did so I won't do it again?

And now, without further ado, I will plunge right in and recreate it on the fly, so to peak. Wait a minute. There will be a short period of "ado" after all so I can save this new thread just like the old thread.

Cross your fingers, here goes!!!!
<Does anyone else here see the shear absurdity of this? Here I sit at a technological "teat" at the end of a life-force tree structure that fills this corner of Universe for all of Creation to look at itself and to admire its own continuously self creating beauty. ... And the best that I can come up with is an ancient Hex sign that lost its power eons ago. >

Anyway, I'm going to try it out. If you detect the faint smell of burning sulfur...

well, blamed if it didn't do it again! You are just going to have to trust me. It was such brilliant prose that I feel a possible cardiac incident coming from twenty years into the future. Or maybe it was just gas....

In any case, this brilliant prose mashed down into my floorboard will live forever in the memory of those who knew it. All I know is that this post is going to have to settle for relative brevity tonight and detail tomorrow. <If, that is, I don't do it again and go bersek (I know it is mispelled but it has a certain panache anyway and I just had to share it with you.)

Bottom Line! Down and Dirty! Get to the Point! And the increasingly popular, "Turn that damn guitar down..."

So, like Steve, I remain interested in the possibilities of DXM.
A lot of ink has been wasted in speculating about DXM's ability to protect from damage that is concrete and here and waiting to be dealt with even now. To be blunt and even cruel, I admit to caring little about "preventing damage" to those fellow beings not yet born.

If you want to engage my attention, then let's talk about things that we can reach and use to ease the present day burden that is requiring me to crawl to the restroom. Pie in the Sky is all well and good but we are still hungry afterwords <Oh there is another one of those special words. "Afterwords..." That one is rich and must be handled properly.

Well, time to call it a night. I wish you all a merry christmas and hope that you all still have someone to hold and who holds you in return. And if not then may you dream that you do.

Well, I really must go...
<But baby it's cold out there....>
My mother's so old.....
<I'll build a warm fire in there...>
She worries I'm late.....
<We dare not go out there....>
We'll just have to wait....
<(together)>
<Baby, it's cold outside...>

With apologies to Tom Jones - the best at what he does and who proves that white guys can indeed dance (if they can get a good tail wind).

If the thread is here somewhere you can probably find it by using the search link in my siggy line.
Or if you know members usernames that posted on it you can type in their name and find all posts by them..

Sometimes my fingers hit a wrong key and lose the page I was on..
That might be what happened..
