just playing devils advocate but one can't ignore the OC risk with agonists and other side affects such as drowsiness, the fact that you usually get better symptom relief from CL and continuous infusion probably results in dyskinesia levels similar to agonists so it isn't the L-DOPA but uneven l-dopa levels causing the dyskinesias.
one has to consider how severe and often the dyskinesias occurred when taking C/L and if patients were optimally dosed. From what I've read some people prefer mild dyskinesia to agonist side affects, i apologize if wrong about that. NEUPRO and extended release REQUIP might be a lot better as far as side affects?
And how many of those studies were funded by agonist mfg's?
