I dunno, harley. I find that after my initial euphoria, I'm too angry to write anything, too.

Default OK, I'm over it,

and Harley, my advice, since you didn't ask for it, is:
1. Get over it.
2: You have more to lose than you have to gain by going.
3. Name me 10 different things you can count on in life before we start in on this place.
4. Get over it.

And you know we're all loved here. Even me.

The ultimate owners of http://forums.braintalk2.org can be checked on the WHOIS web site.

It comes up as John Grohol, the name you already have, of a small company called Liviant, which is based in the U.S..

John Grohol is in fact Liviant, as Liviant has only one employeee :

Liviant's business is Internet Consulting And Hosting.

Default it was just a question of time

before some enterprising individual stepped in to fill the void.

we'll just have to see how it works out. My thanks to the gentleman who started this. It was kind (and very astute) of you to identify this need.
