I have eaten my share of eggplant, and never got a nicotine buzz like you get from a cigarette. 1 Kilogram = 2.2 pounds. Like aquario said that's 20+ pounds of eggplant for 1 cigarette.

I think I am gonna get some Nicotine gum and give it a try. The patches gave me a rash so I had to give them up.

I would try that vapor stuff as well, but I think that stuff is pretty pricy. Cost more than actual cigarettes do. I will have to investigate and see.

Hi Glen...good to see you here. Still don't know the foods that you are relying on to help you improve your symptoms...other than those mentioned here on this post. But, I must say that I never really enjoyed egg plant until this year. Perhaps my body has a need for it now and I ate almost a whole large one by myself a couple of days ago and can't get enough blueberries ..I have hot peppers growing in the greenhouse to give to people who enjoy them ...but have never eaten one myself....will try and hope I don't internally combust. We have tomatoes by the bushels. I try to grow as much as possible of what I eat here on the farm...I eat alot oof it raw right from the plant as I pick...fresh and organic is so important .It is alot of work/ fresh air and sunshine and I feel good! Sometimes exhausted...but good. Grampa said, hard work never killed anyone and if something makes your muscles achy and sore...get out there the next day and do it again. He grew a garden by hand to feed his large family in a body cast after being smashed in a mining tunnel colapse. I don't think I could work in a body cast in the heat....so nothing I face is too hard to do ...you just have to have motive and determination and go for it

Trig I. Met Glen Pettibone

Virtually, of course, but Aunt Bean kept telling me about this guy's story, so I called his bluff! Today we video Skyped ( my iPad to his iPhone). This guy is a mechanical engineer, and if he isn't at least 140 IQ, I'll eat my . . . Eggplant! Lol

But his smarts aren't what impressed me. It was that he was not selling anything. He just was so excited about finding this combination of foods that worked for him that allowed him to avoid DBS and dyskinesia by lowering his meds enough to halt the dyskinesia ( not totally quit). Mr. Pettibone was quick to state that he could not guarantee it may work for others. He had also researched the literature and presented an impressive bibliography of references. He gave his theory as to why these foods seemed to complement his medication regime, also. I was impressed - not quite convinced, but truly think this gentleman sincerely just wants to share his find with those suffering from medication side effects.

Pettibone has authored a book telling his story. Here's a link to Amazon.

http://powerfulfoodandawalkinthesun.blogspot.com

Wait! Are you saying "His book! That's what he is trying to sell!"??? Well, the cost is minimal, and the language is a bit too scientific in some places, but it's just a theory as to why he thinks this food combinations ( and exercise - a walk in the sun)

Listen, I am the biggest skeptic on these alternative therapies as they come, but his book and our conversation made sense! It was convincing enough that I am bothering to research it more and ask that you out there with knowledge in nutrition and food combinations for healing should give it a look-see.

After all, medications are usually made from plants, and many plants are food. Just check it out
Thanks.
Peggy
