I sat here laughing like a fool every time the baby did and then went to the one titled Blood and while I laughed there too the last part brought me back to realilty when i realized how I ignored the childs obvious fear and caring for his brother.
I will never again ignore what my great grandaughter says to me about hes baby sister. Thank you |

....and something so simple. Sometimes the best thing about having kids around is you get to be one.

I have been to see the Otters many times at the Vancouver aquarium and rather than being so cute they are really quite pitifull.
The poor creaures are in an empty pond and in order to sleep or just lay for periods of time in that pool they have to grasp at each others hands. In the wild they float amid the sea grass and kelp and can rest on these long fronds. Here they have nothing to grasp on save each other. Funny how we humans see our own actions reflected in all that surrounds us while reality is ignored. Sorry for telling this but they really are sad to be around, for me anyway. |

It was my daughter who found this as she has far more patience [and time i guess ] to search the net than I do,but it made me chuckle throughout the day.Any other additions would be more than welcome.Heck,we all need a good laugh from time to time.Haven`t yet seen the otter link so will make a point of doing so.Thenks Madelyn.Thelma...if that is the case with these creatures then yes it is sad,and no they shouldn`t be exploited. But when you look at how cruel nature can be in the wild sometimes,,....well i guess you say what you have experienced and that is important to know, where real mistreatment occurs.
However...please do add your funnies. This set me on the path for a good day today. x |

Hey Steffi,
Thanks for sharing the video ... that is too cool. If you close your eyes and turn away, you think it's a grown man laughing, not a mere baby. Did you feel that way, too? Ironically, I recognized the title at the beginning as Scandinavian. When it popped up that it's from Sweden, I wasn't too surprised. LOL We still don't know if we're moving back to Norway yet. I told my husband that I really, really, really want to know something before the end of June. He has a business trip back there in a week and I'm hopeful that he'll put the squeeze on so we know something one way or another. Okay, thanks again for sharing it. Terri
