Default DXM and Azilect

Hello Friends,

I started 4.5 mg of DXM last night and noticed some light improvement this morning: moving faster, less leg dragging, perhaps a better balance. Will see if it continues through the day. The idea of stopping azilect makes me uncomfortable, though. I don't know DXM pharmacokinetics, but I wonder if the evening dose metabolizes overnight, so a morning pill of Azilect doesn't actually interfere. Would love to hear your comments.

It should metabolize over night but a few people (10%) lack the enzyme to metabolize it.

Thank you Gerry! I'll try to do more research.
