That seems to be quite a rinky-dink website.
Where are the trial particulars, the study results, etc. Quote:

I can't go to a lot of the websites people post like this on a certain subject(lucky I can get to NeuroTalk most of the time).....if possible could you give a short sentence at least to kind-of "sum - up" what they are referring to and conclusion reached on the website? THanks a lot, (dad takes pomegranate juice every day and I am curious) Have a great day, Aunt Bean

The site has no references but apparently they gave a group of rats pomegranate with the expectation that its antioxidant power would be neuroprotective when they were exposed to rotenone. Instead it increased the damage to the neural pathways.
Here is a scientific reference. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24315037 Apparently, pomegranate is a potential pro-oxidant but that is true for many antioxidants given in isolation. Antioxidants work best as a network.

I've also read that Pomegranate was a Pro-Oxidant.

Here is more information. It apparently applies to other polyphenols.
