Default I'm travelling....

and amazed at my ability to walk for several blocks with cane of course. But the cane beats up my shoulder ; worst dystonia in years , thank DOG for pain meds). At home with family in canada (ontario). Nothin like mom's cooking, probably gained about 5 pounds in a week. Interesting to see family dynamics after so many years away. Love them all. cs

You'd think we'd appreciate this hot weather after the awful long winter we had, but over 25 C is a bit much for us northerners. And the mosquitos, oh my gosh, I haven't seen them this big and this many in quite a few years. My son was out tubing on the river, and was covered in big bites last night. The kids don't remember how bad they can be, and haven't learned to take the repellent along wherever they go!

Robert, I have one big daylily that gets bigger and more gorgeous every year. I finally have the front of the house looking good with perennials and shrubs. Now if I could stop losing shrubs in the back to winterkill every year, it might look as good. One of my annual tests (can I still mow the yard) keeps getting interrupted - either it's too hot to do all at once, or someone else takes over while I'm busy. I think next year we might get a self-propel mower, our yard has too many slopes to make it easy.

Nothing new to report other than I took my new bicycle out on a 13 mile ride and paid for it the next day. My legs didn't hurt, but good lord the rest of my body was stiff and sore and my dystonia was brutal! But I really enjoyed being out on the bike again in the sun. Well worth it. Looking forward to more rides, but this time I'll try to pace myself better!

My fight against my health insurance carrier to go out-of-network to see a MDS is in full swing right now. I'm sure they'll officially reject my request and I'll have to appeal. More stress, but better to fight than to simply accept mediocre care from sub-par doctors. Hope they're ready to brawl!

Other than that, life is good. And what more can you ask for than that?

Have a good week everyone...

And go Sens!

Default week

Hi Everyone

Guess what?? SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!! Yeehah!!!!
Planning on working out at the gym, going mountain bike
riding and going to lay out by one of the creeks there. I'm
hoping to do that nearly every morning. (Now ain't life grand??)

Now what shall I do the rest of my time off? Oh yeah, there
is shopping....(but, that does take money---still looking for
that part time job w/extremely good pay).

Going to ride horses some and trying to talk my husband into
letting me buy a motor cross dirt bike to ride on the course
near by....don't think I wanna race, but you never know.

Trying crazy stuff before I can no longer try them... Odd
how a critical illness can push you out there where you've
never ventured before............

Have a great week!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love to all,

Mary Frances

Hi everyone:

Yesterday (Monday) we signed the contract for the sale of our house. Our builder called from Maine and said that the new house could be move-in- ready by the end of July. We'll probably have the closing around the last week in July. My little grandson (Nicholas, age 17 months) was given his first "time out". They didn't have those when I was a kid.

All the best,

Lloyd

Back from trip to Philadelphia.

Three days of news to catch up on...translated into too many email in my Inbox...

Now to catch up on things at home, like mowing the two week old lawn...rained too much to do it sooner, so it will be a two-gas-tank mow...
