Default sept2 commentary - Is Exenatide the Next Big Thing in Parkinson’s Disease? - rehash

the pd trials of this insulin drug has been mentioned before, not really "news" but authors seem "excited" at 12 and 24month results. my opinion only on that.

I thought the results of the two year follow-up were very exciting. The significant, and more importantly, meaningful differences between the two groups held consistently for two years. I know that a placebo effect can be long lasting, but you would think the two groups would begin to merge somewhat a year after the study was completed.

It certainly will be interesting to see what happens in the new, placebo controlled study. Too bad it's not being done locally.
