Smile Insurance for DBS

I just read the long thread about Sinemet and for certain no two PWP have the same symptoms and treatment. I chose DBS which, thus far is working. I have told my story in several other threads. I would like to read what obstacles or challenges were/are with getting insurance including medicare to pay for the procedure and follow up with stimulator placement. Anyone who can write about their experience would be appreciated
Thank you
Damon
