Default Electroconvulsive therapy for Parkinson's

Hello,
My wife has had PD for about 12 years now. I believe she is maxed out on her PD meds, levo-dopa averaging about 1000 mg/day. She is now in the hospital geriatric unit, she's 65, after calling our town electric dept. claiming her floors are electrified. They sent 911. She has been having severe hallucinations for about a year now. We believe they are caused by the meds. Her choices are a nursing home where they will keep her off to control her or DBS. She may or may not qualify for DBS. The attending neurologist in the hospital wants us to talk to a neuro/psychiatrist who does electroconvulsive therapy, ect. He claims to have good results with ect on PD patients.

Does anyone have any experience with ECT for PD?
We see him tomorrow.
John
