I'm looking for information on Parcopa, too. Specifically, does it absorb into your system through the cells in the mouth or does it just get dissolved in the mouth and then have to go down through the digestive system like the regular tablets? (I've read conflicting things about this on the internet.) If it actually gets absorbed through cells in the mouth, then might what and when you eat not be a problem?

if l-dopa could be absorbed thru the gum tissue we'd have been taking that formulation a long time ago.

this formulation is seldom used and only by people who have trouble swallowing pills.
