Default Bradycardia

Was wondering if many of you have a low pulse rate and if so have you been given any advice from your Dr.
Mine is usually around 45-55 and I notice when working out it's unusual for it to go above 70 during or straight after strenuous exercise.
I know it's related to the autonomic system not behaving and it happens in P.D. but wonder how common it is.
Before anyone tells me I should perhaps "get a life" instead of taking my pulse rate I'll defend myself by saying it shows up on the handles of the gym machines plus I've had hypertension lately and the B.P. cuff shows pulse rate too!
Thanks,
Lee
