Default Stem Cell human trials to begin soon!

Welcome to the Research Update Corner for Summit4StemCell! The goal of our project is to make dopaminergic neurons from patients to treat their Parkinson's disease. It's personalized medicine! We have "reprogrammed" skin cells from all 8 of our patients into pluripotent stem cells. Now we are making neurons from these stem cells and testing them in the lab and in animals to provide as much evidence as possible that these cells are safe and efficacious for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
