Hi Folks,
I have been reading the book, "The Measure of a Man", by Sidney Poitier and it is a great read. So many of us wonder how we would have evolved given a more natural environment. Mr. Poitier writes about his childhood on a remote island with none of the technology of civilization and how it molded the man he became. It is fascinating reading. It is in paperback and not overly expensive. You might want to give it a read. Would anyone be interested in forming a Parkinson's book club online? People could recommend books that have had an affect or moved them in some way. Biography, fiction, science fiction, classics, all genders of reading. Love, Vicky |
