Default MJFF Analysis Reveals Gaps between Volunteers and Parkinson's Clinical Studies

In line with my previous post, MJFF had a research study published today in the Journal of Parkinson's Disease based up data collected from the first three years of operating Fox Trial Finder (www.foxtrialfinder.org). Key findings point to insights for both patients and trial teams on aspects of life with Parkinson's that may impact research recruitment and participation. The de-identified data in Fox Trial Finder could illuminate trends about how Parkinson's family history or connection, length of time since diagnosis, previous medical procedures and simple geography affect recruitment, helping studies connect with eligible volunteers and vice versa.

MJFF are to be commended for doing this.

Registration goes smoothly. This is followed by a section where you enter symptoms, I have so many and my typing is so slow that I estimate that it would take me 30 minutes to complete, rather than the expected 5 minutes. I didn't complete it. I think that data entry here could be made much faster (a simple table).

That's great feedback, John. I didn't have any problems and found it quite easy. However, someone else also told me they had a few issues with data entry like you.
