Default New to this site

Hi Everyone- I am totally new to this site. I've been recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. I don't know how I found this site (probably googled it). I was under the impression that this was a "live" chat with people who have Parkinson's. If this is a chat site, can someone direct me on how to log on. ** to chat with others who share similar situations etc.

Thank you.

Hello and welcome to NeuroTalk
we do have chat rooms, as well as private one on one member chat (which you get access to after you have made a few posts) ...you will see a chat bar at the bottom of all pages.

However, not many members here at NeuroTalk use the chat rooms.

The forums here are where members have active discussions, and we also have a Private Messaging system as well as Visitor Messages (which is open posts on another member's profile)

Welcome to the PD forum. You will find a lot of info here because we are all looking for a cure and doing our own research . If you just start reading the posts...you will find people with similar situations to yours. All of us are different, but have PD as a common bond .Everyone seems willing to be of help. We are sort of an extended family and will support you in any way we can. Have a blessed day. Aunt Bean
