It seems risky, wherever it's done. I wonder about the long term implications.

Apparently, over 30,000 stem cell treatments have been done in the US with little if any problems. Stemgenex works under an FDA IRB (independent review board) so they're watched pretty close. yeah, not sure of long term but they use your own cells so it seems safe.
