Hi Everyone
My husband was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease 12 years ago at 53. He was relatively good for a good number of years. Over the last year or two his symptoms became worse. He had a Duodopa Pump procedure done 3 weeks ago. It has made a huge difference to him during the day. At night time then he has to remove pump & takes 1 Sinemet Cr. I attach the pump in morning at 8.am. It definitely has improved things for him. The off time really is night time . He cant walk on his own to use bathroom etc. Its not a cure but he is really grateful to get pump. He is 65 this year. I send good wishes from Ireland to all here. GerC |
