Default been there-done that (too)

In search of unifying principles that apply in a general sense it seems to me that parkinsonism is asking for deeply stabilizing remedy....so I'm wondering if more attention should be given to those herbs and nutrients that are adaptogenic....such as ashwaganda, ginseng and tumeric merely because they are adaptogenic. So many things we do help for awhile then lose their beneficial effectat the mercy of homeostasis dynamics . Long term strategies may ultimately be the best....give up the fast gratification and go for the foundation.

Default Update

i bought a jar of this three weeks ago. Then after a week went by I emailed the company. They were very willing to send me out a two month supply for free. I found it curious that the supply didn't come with a diary or any sort of on going way to see how I did on their product. So I'm not too sure if they are trying to conduct a study or what?
Anyway, I've been whipping it into a smoothie for like three weeks now and strangely enough I'm feeling pretty good. I've been able to space out my doses of 25/100 carbidopa/ levodopa which I was taking one per hour and now I'm able to go 3 hours or more.
I don't think I'm ready to call this a cure or even a viable treatment but it does seem to be doing something!

I got a consent form and a questionnaire to fill out. Call Soledad and ask for them.

Madamlash,
How much of the Xicepta supplement powder are your taking daily. From what I understood from the manufacturor , 1 jar is a supply for 15days. And also also me please when you take your dosage and if you take it after a meal. I also am taking this supplement for two weeks. Today is the end of the 2nd week. Please advise on any thing else that I might haven't ask as a question. Crossing my fingers. Thanks for your attention.

I take one scoop in the morning in a smoothie made with yoghurt and a banana. Along with that I eat a piece of toast spread with Reese's peanut/ chocolate spread. That's around 6 am. With that I take one carbi/'levo 25/100 and one .5 mirapex. Nothing else.

This looks interesting and may be worth a try.
