MitoQ is a mitochondrial targeted form of CoQ10 that is up to 1000x more potent than regular ubiquinol. In this study it failed to halt the progression of PD.
Scientists said it was either because subjects were either too far gone or oxidation is not the problem in PD. http://www.medpagetoday.com/MeetingCoverage/AAN/9205
