Question DBS - sweating and tremor

I am sitting here on my front porch in the wonderful breeze reading, but I can't keep my mind on the book. My horrible sweaty morning is to much in my mind.

I was dxd in 1994 at age 45, with symptoms starting in my late 30s. Before those years I began having profuse sweating problems. I don't mean my hands and feet, but from the top of my head to my toes and everywhere in between.

Today I can't walk anywhere or stand anywhere without sweating this way. Today, Tuesday, is a perfect example of what it is like to be me. SS came today, so it is bill pay day. I dropped off the gas bill in the drop box...how sad it would be to be able to pay it online like everything else, but no. Then I went to the grocery store. As usual I began sweating immediately. It comes to a crescendo within about five minutes and by this time it is dripping off my hair, rolling down my neck and back, etc.

Then crossing my fingers, I went on a volunteer safety training tour at the museum, and of course, the sweating began again. (Maybe doing anything outside my home isn't going to work.) As I tell my daughter, I need to buy stock in paper towel companies. I keep two/three in my purse at all times throughout the year.

So, comes my question. I have been hanging around here for many, many years and BrainTalk before this. So, I know where to go to ask questions when I need to. I have done some research into this and hope that what I have read holds true.

For those with DBS, and sweating problems, has DBS truly helped you?

I know DBS is something that is in my future because my tremor is beyond control most of the time. I can deal with the tremor and walking problems, but the sweating keeps me home and has become a real obstacle in my quality of life.

Blessings to the inventor of the electric fan.
