Default THe higher the cosmic rays, the higher the dopamine.

Cosmic rays are protons from the sun and stars that hit earth at all moments and cascade into mostly into electrons which hit our atoms at all times. I learned to know how high they are at any given moment by the effect they have on me, as tipped off by the fact that horses on three different monitors at the race track at three different tracks across the country would all start becoming energiized and dancing around at the same moment. They have been getting higher each decade for at least 25 years. They have a strong effect on our dopamind secretion and other bodily functions, all being improved instantly when they go to a higher level, and vice versa. Some of your daily and day to day variation in performance and how you feel can be explained by this.

In the last few months they have really been so often at near their highest levels, altho they fluctuate sometiimes from one mnute to the next. You can tell by looking at a sporting event and noticing how fast the players move, or how energized your dog is or they make people feel good and more friendly when high. One of the most interesting thing I noticed was that the more people would be in the cafeteria line at the racetrack depending on how how the cosmic rays were, on low days the line may even be empty, thus I am betting that and that alone is the reason for the obesity crisis of the last few decades. THey stimulate evidently all human activity, and a book says they make war and migration more likely. And they keep rising on average in my assessment. I believe the websites that allege to measure cosmic rays are not accurately because they often differ from my assessment. A guy on COast to COast AM claimed this would be due to our inability to measure all the types of radiation from far away stars. BUt I seem to be able to feel all the types , as do those horses.
