In the U.S., fecal transplants (FMT) for people with PD are not allowed in a recognized medical facility. Fecal transplants can only be given to patients with C-Diff. due to strict FDA regulations (and Big Pharma!)
However, several recognized medical facilities in Europe and other locations are offering "safe" fecal transplants to people with PD. Has anyone on this forum had this procedure done for their PD outside of the U.S.?? Last edited by Lexiegirl; 06-24-2015 at 09:47 PM. Reason: word changes |
