Default DBS and now carotid ultrasound?

My doctor wants me to have carotid artery ultrasound in my neck area.

I have bilateral DBS implants. Other than turning off my unit, the only other thing I can do is not have the procedure.

Has any one else with DBS had carotid ultrasound? How did the procedure go?
