"Patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease (AD), 2,000 IU/day of alpha tocopherol compared with placebo resulted in slower functional decline. There were no significant differences in the groups receiving memantine alone or memantine plus alpha tocopherol. These findings suggest benefit of alpha tocopherol in mild to moderate AD by slowing functional decline and decreasing caregiver burden." https://jama.jamanetwork.com/article...icleid=1810379 http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...s-disease.aspx Last edited by badboy99; 07-31-2015 at 11:11 AM. |
