Who was your doctor and why did you quit after 3 months? The doctor should have told you that for most parkinsons patients it can take up to 6 months to a year to get stabilized depending on how often you consult with each other.

As i read inside papers , over 95 percent of cases dont show relife in symptoms before reaching to balanced doses of amino acids . Relife of symptoms are like an on/off switch and it will be happen 1-2 days after reaching to balanced doses. In my father case during the treatment i seen some improvement in his lung , skin , hair , nail . But not in pd symptoms , recently he shows some improvement in his pd too . My father is on this protocole for about 5 months . And i am doing it by myself . Coz i am so far from USA. Anyway for my father after 17 years of pd history, i seen some benifit.
My father had all possible symptoms of pd befor of this therapy , but now very of them are changed from sever to mild or relifed. |

The doc just kept quickly increasing the dosages and it got to be quite expensive. CL costs me only $10 a month so I just use that now.

Oh I see, sorry to hear about your bad experience with that doc. There are only a handful of doctors that I know of who have the training with the amino acid therapy to be able to handle a parkinsons patient. Its hard to compete with only $10 a month though haha. I hope the CL is working well for you.

Gerry, I have a question for you regarding when you were doing the Hinz protocol.
From what I recall based on your previous posts, the one issue you were having while doing it was having the on/off effect where you would be fine with no symptoms for a certain period of time and then they would come back, etc. From what I have read based on the research online from Dr. Hinz is the way they control for the on/off effect is by giving adequate tyrosine to control dopamine fluctuations. I have also read that patients have found that eating food can mess with the effect the dosage has. So the 2 questions I have are 1. Did you ever get lab tests done to see if fluctuations were occurring and if they were did you then take tyrosine and do recurring lab tests until they were under control? 2. Did you find that food affected the way the pills worked? And if so, lets say you ate the same thing every single day, would that counter act the fluctuations since you would be getting the same ratio of dietary amino acids day in day out? If these are too long of questions to answer that is totally fine, but if you find the time to answer I would really appreciate it! Thanks |
