Default now that you mention it....

How about ....and please don't take it personally if I can't recall names because it doesn't matter how long I've known a person - I still forget. Anyone have these email addresses?

1.pkell

2.the young onset guy who initially spoke in kind of like philosophical terms at first and was a bit tricky to understand..lots of 'we are one altogether' statements. but always encouraging. He was having a dlifficult time, has young onset, and his name escapes me. He has been here for a long time.

adding: He is a musician I think. It was ToyL....talk about on the tip of the tongue....zzzz

I'll keep adding as I think of them and hope you do too.

Paula

Default Busted

Thanks guys for the email this Sunday morning (NZ time) pointing to the new website. Everything has been lost due to the crash it seems. So I have registered under the current status and put to bed the nic Rationalist who had been infiltrating these forums for seven years.

A big HEY to everybody from the ol Rationalist and the new Howard.
It's good to see the site back on track and all the ol familiar contributors still kicking butt. These forums are a winner even if one does not agree with all view points. The information is invaluable, as are the people who take part.

The gym has been sold and as one door closes another opens. The future looks bright as new information comes out of the MJ Fox web site, and www.neurologix.net/ appears well advanced on its gene therapy trials.

Other initiatives look promising which leaves me to finish with

GO HARD SCIENCE

Now it's time to do some reading.

Hey Rats, welcome back! I was just about to page you!
Too bad about the gym, but you're probably keeping in shape with or without it, anyway.

Missed that "Go hard Science!" of yours.

Hugs
Teresa

Welcome to the new stomping grounds, Howard, and I love your new attitude!

Teresa, I have always loved your attitude! Welcome to you, too.

Default Rationalist (aka Howard) ...

good to see you back and I hope the gym sale works well for you.

While technically you are correct that England are the 74th rated rugby team in the world, (below the Cayman Islands and above Scotland ) I am pleased to say that although our current run of 6 defeats is the worst since 1985, we can only get better.

I am pleased to see the All Blacks peaking between world cups yet again (puts on flame suit and runs for the hills).

I look forward to our future chats re. Rugby and PD (not a combination ordinarily mentioned together).

Take care,
Aftermathman.

Default Hey

Hey Tess,

It's time for the younger ones to take on the gym as I explore and create new opportunities. Exercise is an important part of my daily routine. It enables me to retain neccessary strength that Parkinson's is doing its best to take away. I hope you are keeping up with yours, and I want to see washboard abs by xmas or you're in big big trouble

Hey Jaye. Attitude is everything, and we need plenty of it if we are going to hang together. As a group we are going to have our differences as well as provide information on new initiatives to do with PD. It's fantastic t have this site up and running and long may it continue. We need a back up to Braintalk1. in case of another long crash.

Aftermathman,

This time the All Blacks will do the business. In 03 England were clearly the best team, as they had defeated us, Australia, France, South Africa, and every other nation thrown at them leading up to the 03 World Cup. In 1999 Australia were No1, and who can forget that epic 1995 World Cup final between the AB's and Sth Africa at Loftus Stadia before 65,000 screaming South Africans and the man--Nelson Mandela--with Joel Stransky dropping that goal in xtra time.

The All Blacks are about to leave our shores for Europe as clearly the number one team on the plannet. And that date with England at Twickenham in November before 70,000 fans is eagerly awaited in these parts. This end of year European tour will set us up for World cup year. We are looking forward to the challenge.
