Why else feature on national television a therapy that many don't qualify for, others don't want unless they've run out of other options, and still others have done but it has failed (and for some, miserably so)-if not to drive up the sales?

As for PSA value, I fear that pieces like this just lull the public into thinking that PD is treatable with brain surgery. As one ignorant but kind friend said when we were first diagnosed "Oh, but there's a surgery for that, so just go get it done!" Sure, if only it were that easy!
