Default Body shutdown

Dear new Friends,

My mom died in a nursing home. Unfortunately I wasn't present when it happened. She was 87 years old, and she was in late stage Parkinson's. Her physical condition was very deteriorated. She was very thin and could not speak anymore. I was told there was no trigger or cause of her death but that her body just shut down. Is that possible? What would initiate the shutdown sequence?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Jordi

Jordi, I am sorry to read of your sad loss.

The same thing happened to a much-loved uncle of mine (with end-stage Parkinson's Disease) last year.

Basically he just stopped, without any pain, without any obvious reason.

Please grieve for your mother in your own way and in your own time - whatever feels right for you is all that matters.

With care.

Default Anyone else?

Thank you for your answer. Sorry for your loss.

Anyone else had that experience?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Jordi
