1. Test your level of Uric Acid.
2. Take 500mg of Inosine daily on empty stomach. 3. Retest. 4. Increase your dosage by 500mg until you reach 7.1 - 8.0 range. 5. Slow down your progression! |

The MJFF-funded Phase II study showed that inosine is safe, tolerable and does raise urate levels in people with early-stage PD.
Drink high quality 100% Montmorency Tart Cherry Juice to minimize any possible kidney stone formation. Eden foods makes the best juice. http://www.edenfoods.com/store/fruit...e-organic.html Quick Overview 100% pure Montmorency Tart Cherry Juice, not from concentrate and no additives whatsoever. The Montmorency is traditionally referred to as the 'pie cherry' and the 'healing cherry'. Recipient of the National Association of the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) 'Outstanding Beverage' award. Deep crimson with a cherry pie bouquet. Rich in pleasurable benefits, a good source of potassium. Amber glass protected. kosher Details EDEN Cherry Juice is pure juice of a valued heritage Montmorency tart cherry variety (Prunus cerasus). The cherries are grown on family owned, organic orchards near the east shore of northern Lake Michigan, an ideal tree fruit producing area due to the seasonal lake effect. EDEN Cherry Juice is just 100 percent cherries. The cherries are washed, hand sorted, and pressed using no press aids or enzymes. The juice is lightly filtered and bottled in amber glass to protect its rich flavor, nutrients and bright color. Shake and enjoy. The slight cloudiness and sediment show that it's just good, old fashioned juice. Its bouquet of cherry pie, and potent cocktail of nutrients will surprise, please and soothe. It is low in fat, low in sodium, and a good source of potassium. EDEN Cherry Juice was recognized as one of the top, fine beverages in the world, receiving the award of 'Outstanding Beverage' from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) on July 9th, 2001. The Montmorency is traditionally known as the 'pie cherry' and the 'healing cherry'. Where this cherry variety has been grown for generations, the locals attest to its abilities. A study at Michigan State University found the antioxidant anthocyanins and their anlyon cyanidin compounds in the pigment of the Montmorency cherry. They also found kaempferol, isoqueritrin, and quercetin. Research conducted at Brunswick Laboratories in Massachusetts and the Hollings Cancer Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina found that Montmorency cherries contain ellagic acid, a naturally occurring plant phenolic. Other compounds of note found in Montmorency cherries are perillyl alcohol and melatonin. Dr. Russell Reiter, of the University of Texas Health Science Center, said "We were surprised at how much melatonin was in cherries, specifically the Montmorency variety." According to research melatonin is a most potent antioxidant, even more so than vitamins C, E and A; it is soluble in both fat and water and can enter cells that many vitamins cannot. Many cherry juices are often made from a mixture of apple juice or apple juice concentrate and a touch of cherry juice or cherry juice concentrate and so called 'Natural Flavors', that do not have the same health benefit as juice from 100 percent Montmorency tart cherries. They are often made using pharmaceutical genetically engineered enzymes. The healthier, wise choice is EDEN Organic Cherry Juice. Thanks Bad boy for all the great info on tart cherry juice and it's benefits. I have been using tart cherry juice concentrate for about 2 years now made by Cherry Bay Orchard. It is a rich source of tryptophan and melatonin, so I take before bedtime for sleep and depression. It has been a Godsend. My concern is will the tart cherry juice lower urate level of inosine and render it ineffective. What's your take on that? Thanks

Hi all, I don't deal with PD. But thru a naturopath, I took Inosine and Spingolin for nerve damage BURN and the burn is pretty much gone. Took both the above for 3 months. Nerve damage is from hip replacement "mess". Good to hear comments on Inosine.
