Default The state of Research in 2016

I know there have been some exciting developments coming out of phase 1 trials, from chemotherapy to alpha synuclein vaccines that purportedly reverse motor and cognitive symptoms. I'm wondering if anyone has any updates on these, or other promising research projects?
