If I am not mistaken, PD02 is a proprietary, highly purified form of creatine. It has been mentioned to me by a local Neuro who is also a Movement disorder specialist. It is given in very high doses, something like 5-10 grams a day. I am not in the trial.
Creatine is sold in the U.S. at health food shops as a dietary supplement, especially for athletes and body builders. It usually comes as a powder with some glucose and flavoring added, and is taken dissolved in water. I have tried that preparation for short periods several years ago, but found it to have little benefit, on my running endurance at least. Robert |
