Often the afflicted person is the last to realize this.

If I knew where you lived I could recommend a good Neurologist to you.

Charlie, PD Since 1990. DBS-STN on 2002
He did take the benadryl yesterday, probably from all of my nagging. Today he seems to be a bit more receptive to thinking about things. He has an aversion to medications since his friend died suddenly 2 years ago from a mysterious reaction. He said he wasnt going to take it again since he didnt sleep. I had to remind him he was sleeping in a strange place with 2 cats that wouldnt leave him alone too.

What do you mean a "depressive episode"? I will check out the tests you have mentioned and add them to the list.

I think he was most upset when the neurologist would not write an excuse to take off of work. He is in customer service and is on his feet all day and using a cash register and working with electronics. He wasnt asking for disability he was asking for a week or so to see if things change but she wouldnt budge. I explained he should call his family doctor.

We are located in Northeastern PA, any recommendations would be appreciated. He has a list of things to do on Monday, calling the insurance compnay would be one of them.

Thanks all!
