I had bad case of dyskinesia for 12 hours after increasing dose of levodopa 10%
Im now on much lower dose, so dyskinesia now is not a problem. But my right leg which received a lot of spasms was left almost disabled. For 4 days I had to use two caned to make a few steps muscle relexant didnt help much.
After 3 days being unable to walk i tried vicodin which gave me sharp pain for 10 min, next day i tried oxycontin and as result i am in er with very bad pain and unable to walk even with canes.
Here in ER doctors tried muscle relaxant - didnt work and shot of ibuprofen painkiller- cause sharp pain again. So doctors domt know what to do?

One thing I would do is avoid any pain killers. I have a horrible time with my colon stop working, pain killers (opioids) make that much worse.

Back off on your meds, as you have already done. Try to find a massage therapist who does deep tissue work. I always comment "that's it, I'm never coming as ouch that hurts". I get massive knots, but the next day I feel much better. So for the last five years I keep saying "never again" but makes a difference the following day.

Now I am more clear on what happened.
Dyskinesea spasms caused nerve pinch by the herniated disk. Because i had all kinds of pain in the leg it masked plnched nerve. And for 3 days when the nerve was so severely plnched it reacted with stronger pain to oplum painkiller.
I had hard time to convince my pretty young nurse that the2 perkosets she had for me can just kill me. From 1am to 4 am i was calling nurse, yellng , asked to try zanax, but she was stronger than stone. Finally being ready to jump out of the window,
i gave up, took her pills and in 5 min started feeling very heavy heaviness spreading from the foot up.
Then a miracle happenned: I fell asleep and woke up with much less pain.
What I guess that that night the nerve was pre released by muscle relexor pills and the painkillers Played by the rulles - killed the pain, not me.
