TEVA C/L PRICE INCREASE at my independent pharmacy, getting mylan

Default TEVA C/L PRICE INCREASE at my independent pharmacy, getting mylan
i like teva but the local pharmacy i have been going to for 15 years told me 'their cost jumped almost 300%. TEVA sold the carbidopa/levodopa manufacturing rights to another drug company as part of the deal to acquire allergan. anyone else have this cost jump happen?

Soccertese, what have you found out about Teva generic c/l from Mayne pharmaceuticals? Is it available and what about price increase? Teva brand c/l works so much better for me than Actavis brand. Thanks

Teva and Actavis have the same inactive ingredients listed.

Inactive Ingredients:
magnesium stearate
microcrystalline cellulose
corn starch
D&C Yellow No. 10
FD&C Yellow No. 6

Note: Inactive ingredients may vary.

93 293 Pill - carbidopa/levodopa 25 mg / 1 mg

R 539 Pill - carbidopa/levodopa 25 mg / 1 mg

have a little more research to do, hopefully will have a definitive answer tomorrow

if they are using actavis's formula/production line it makes sense, assume their cost is less than teva's.
as if pd'ers don't have enough to worry about.
