Default Empty nest

How lovely to see you again...well...read you..lol You know what I mean.White daisies are divine in their simplicity...a perfect and fitting choice for OUR garden.I have tried to change My White Garden into OUR WHITE GARDEN but can`t edit it. And it truly will be OUR garden.
Yesterday and today was spent clearing more nettles...6 foot high and sawing fallen trees. And digging has started.I will soon post some photo`s for you all to see the slow, but certain development. It will take some time but determination is my middle name...lol
I am so pleased you want to be a part of this.Thank you so much.

Steff

Hey Steffi,
Gardening is quickly becoming a new passion for me...love the flowers, herbs and veges as they thrive...on good days, I get lost in weeding and trimming. It's wonderful! Wish I was there to help you!

PS-I am also a Ste-ph

Smile The Garden is back

Through the heavy fog a ray of sunshine briefly pops back to the top of the front Page!

Default Update

Thank you Steph and Chris for your replies.I haven`t allowed this dream of mine to die a death.I`ve been doing that myself instead but am emerging long enough to update you folks.I will put a couple of pictures on shortly [when I get round to it] a famous phrase....and they will give you all an idea of the plot this garden is hopefully going to evolve in.I began clearing the 6 foot nettles not long ago. A somewhat tentative task.I mean, when you are pulling out a 6 foot lethal stinging machine yoou aim to pull it out straight and dump it...yes?
Well with PD the odds of you letting go of it when you want to are not very good are they...and even worse,if you get a dose of the shakes whilst weeding these things, you wind up as I did, looking like Anekin Skywalker in a battle scene from Star Wars, nettle flailing about like a light sabre, and neighbours blinking in mild disbelief and shock at the sight of this mad woman who gets high on thrashing herself with stinging nettles.
A wry smile and a shrug of the shoulders usually has them returning sheepishly to their chores however.
Then I tackled a fallen plum tree, hoping to save it and use it as some sort of a feature but the next day my gardener had scalped it bless him.
So..at least I have the trunk which can be used for climbers to curl around.
I then began digging. Ho hum. Me thinks I need to hire a digger to help out here so,don`t hold your breath but there might be a pic coming up of me in a yellow hat and wellies, careering about on an industrial digger.
Then the neighbours better watch It!!! BOB THE BUILDER EAT YOUR HEART OUT.

So...just a short update but just wanted to let you know that things are moving. Steph.I would be happy for your company any day.Book a flight dear.
