Default FWIW, hurricane harvey is a reminder to have extra meds stored away

other reasons to not run out of a drug before getting the next refill

1. supply chain interruptions - natural disasters, recalls, production problems that prevent the pharmacy from refilling a RX.
2. the pharmacy switches you to a generic that you don't like. having some of the other generic on hand that you like better allows you to compare the two and some time to try to get the generic you like. my independent pharmacy will get the C/L and mirapex generic i like if possible.

not sure how doable this is but if you are getting an expensive brand name agonist or azilect, etc and no C/L, might be a good idea to ask your doc for a carbodopa/levodopa RX with a few refills so you can have C/L on hand in case you can't get that expensive brand name. or maybe some mucana as a last resort?
