I'm not sure if there have been other anti emetics produced or its still the only drug we have for nausea. Its been several years since I've had nausea and needed it but it is a handy one for us Parkies to keep in the medicine cabinet. The chills and rigidity could perhaps be related to food poisoning or a virus? That'd make you feel a bit more symptomatic and also the reason for your taking Domperidone. From what I remember its only needed as required i.e. take it say 1/2 to 1 hr before eating if you're queazy or have been vomiting. Hope you feel better soon. |
