Default This is Good News, maybe!

In all my years on this forum, this is the most hopeful news I've seen. In my wife' case, her advanced PD also involves PD psychosis and any reduction in sinemet, especially by 40%, would be an immense improvement in her quality of life. Don't know who this research group is, but they should be put on a fast track to develop this drug and get it out there.

How does one know if the psychosis is caused by drugs or by the disease itself? I have not been able to attribute the cause of psychosis to one thing or another. Thanks!

I'm learning ALOT on Dr. Medicis' website.. www.straighttalk.cc .a virtual goldmine of helpful information...one is an article about how scientists are looking to the microbiome to determine DNA expression.... also if you are really curious about your own gut chemistry here is a great lab test he suggested on one of his videos about gut health: https://www.gdx.net/product/gi-effec...ive-stool-test

Blessings to all

KNPV,

You ask: "How does one know if the psychosis is caused by drugs or by the disease itself?"

Is the psychosis worse while "on" or "off".

Since I don't have on and off times, although I dutifully take my Sinemet, to me it's a theoretical question. I can't test it on myself. Thanks for your logical answer!
