Would a similar protocol help PWP?

Default 2014

I first read about this when the article came out and was so excited. That was 2014, four years ago. I also read the book you link.

I've not been able to find anything updating this research but would be most interested if anyone has.

My Husband has started following Dr. Bredesen's protocol with very interesting results. He has very strong family history of Alzheimer's with both grandparents and parents suffering from the disease, and at age 66 was having worsening problems with word finding. To the point that I wondered how much longer he could continue with the volunteer work he does that required a lot of public speaking and phone calls. . After a short time on the diet Dr. B recommends, the word finding was pretty much back to normal. He also reported feeling happier and I could see that he was calmer.

His blood work was good at his last pilot's medical, and we're not aware of any problems like mold that need fixing.

I'm looking forward to trying the protocol. But right now I'm on a diet to fix my laryngopharyngeal reflux and it has to be low fat.uuh
