John,
Thanks so much for the article. Can both scenarios be true? It might be useful to also ask why is it that exercise is such a positive deterrent in PD progression for many many PWP . One of the most basic and fundamental principals taught in Anatomy and Physiology courses is the central role circulation plays in health.

Wildfire comes to mind (metaphorically speaking) ....whether it is triggered by carelessness, lightening, fate or a combination of wind and dry conditions /that were set up by either genetics or/and poor management, one can take comfort in the knowledge that new growth will eventually result. And... although we can't restore the forest to its former glory....we can attempt to optimize it- replenish the soil and encourage the ecosystem as best one can.
