Default Parkinsons and REM sleep

Hello,

I've read some studies that show REM sleep behaviour disorder to be a strong predictor of Parkinsons. One of the ''treatments'' for this is clonazepam, which (aside from being very addictive), is often used to treat anxiety. With these things in mind, I'm wondering about links between anxiety, sleep, and Parkinsons specifically. Additionally, Is there a certain disposition that people who develop Parkinsons share? A predisposition to worrying? An ingrained condition of anxiety (possibly low-level, always present). What's the missing link? Is there something emotional or embedded in one's character that would contribute to the onset? Stress and anxiety seem well known as culprits in many underlying health issues. They can disrupt the delicate homeostasis of our bodies. Is there any research on this as it relates specifically to Parkinsons?
