Default Whole body feels out of whack

Hi,

I’m a 26 year old male. I have been pretty healthy until recently I started experiencing troublesome symptoms. I started with stiffness throughout my entire body two months ago. Now my arms and legs feel shaky and weak. I have been in bed for 14-15 hours a day. Walking down the stairs is hard then walking up the stairs. My legs feel like they are going to give out on me. My brain feels like it’s operating at 30%. I feel this constant tremor throughout my entire body. Washing a dish is a challenge. I have a neurology consult next month. All of my blood work has been normal so far. I have been taking Zoloft for the past 6 years so I don’t think that could be the cause. I’m not sure that I can function like this any longer.

I'm sorry you can't be seen by a neuro sooner, have you been to a general practitioner already for these symptoms, they might be able to advise a direction or get you in to a specialist sooner?

There are a few health conditions that have similar symptoms..
Have you explored the interactive symptom websites online?

For your upcoming appt , it is often good to make a list of all symptoms, any meds or supplements you take..

OP: I am reading your post and have you been diagnosed for PD? This is not my issue but all health conditions interest me. There is an abundance of info here.

Default Zoloft?

If you are on a higher dose of zoloft, try reducing it for a week and see if you feel better. Also, read up on zoloft side effects.

I was thinking the same thing about the Zoloft, I was taking it back in the 90's don't remember the dose and after I fell a couple times, I decided it was the Zoloft and got off it. Now a friend takes Wellbutrin and has to get off it as it causes muscle and joint aches and pains.

Hi,

I haven’t been diagnosed with PD. I have a neuro consult next month. Thanks for the advice on the grape seed extract. I will try that out. I’m going to talk to my doctor about lowering the Zoloft Dose. It may be part of the problem.
