Default Really Interesting and Intriguing

GregW1...yes..Mike...known as racin' bear...I remember that name well, and I know that Scott and Mike kept in touch for a time, but as time went on, this contact seemed to become less and less until I believe they no longer corresponded (not really certain about this).

...and Jaye...yes...I remember Scott talking about Rendezvous and you with Chit Chat...then, the merge into Chatterbox Cafe...and yes...I believe we used my pwp's user name at the time, i.e. Doreen...Scott would know and recognize us as Gin and Doreen (my first name is Virginia (Gin)...but I decided to use my middle name here when I joined, i.e. Therese...just like my middle name better!!!! I last tried e-mailing Scott and Cera using both their e-mail addresses about 2 weeks ago and a message was returned to me stating that these addresses were no longer in use. Receiving that message really just devastated us...there would be no other way for us to contact them because, as close as we had become, Scott was reluctant to share his home address and telephone number with ANYONE telling us that he had had a very bad experience one time and he just couldn't bring himself to move beyond that experience...not even with us...even though we had given ours to them...but, that was our choice, and we respected Scott's choice...but, now, we have no way to be in touch...and we just feel so helpless. I apologize for going on at such length, but when I read your responses...GregW1 and Jaye, I really became so excited because it just seemed to me that I might be getting a little closer to finding our friends. Thank you so much for your messages and for offering to help if you can.

Default Thank you, Thelma

Thelma...just read your post...thank you for directing me to the Archives. I wasn't able to access the specific topics listed there..my webtv didn't seem to have that capability...but, I will ask Doreen (my pwp) to access these on her computer tomorrow. I'm almost tempted to go wake her up to do this for me right now, but I don't think that she'd appreciate that!!!

Thanks again, Thelma

I remember Scott and Cera from the old forum, but I never knew them beyond the forum. I remember interesting and warm hearted posts by Scott. But something upset them enough to make them leave the forum, I have no idea what it was, but I remember Scott's good bye post. It was sad - and strange - that they left. I hope they are well, and that you find them.

Default Thank you, Birte

You described Scott so well, Birte...very warm...very caring...and, too, very humorous at times. Some, here, have said that they would try to "find" him...but, I really sense that this is hopeless at this point...and we feel helpless in that we have no way to be in touch with these two very nice young people and their family. It is such a loss to us...and they seem to have disappeared just as the did from the forum.

Thank you again, Birte....

Default Thank you, Jaye and Harley

Just want to thank both of you for trying to "find" Scott, Cera and family. Just as Birte mentioned that it was a mystery as to the reason they left BT and the way in which they left, it is for us, too, a mystery. I seem to have exhausted all avenues in my search to find these two very nice people. I continue to hope, though, that possibly...just possibly...someone, here, WILL post a "lead" for us someday. Thanks to ALL who have tried to help us in our quest.
