I've been notified that two participants in this clinical trial have died. One died of a heart attack and another suffered a pulmonary embolism. Neither was as a result of the surgery so the trial will proceed. I don't know where
these events took place but they were not in the Philadelphia area. Please remember these unknown individuals in your prayers. Dottie |

I'm very sorry to hear that. People in clinical trials for advanced PD are likely somewhat older and in the age range for a host of health issues.
I almost feel like that moment of silence that Howard mentioned in another thread is called for - for these people. I'm glad they notified you Dottie and thanks for sharing it here. Paula
