Franklin Golf Tourney Benefits Stem Cell Research
Nashville, Tennessee, WKNR September 6, 2007, 4:29 pm Organized by Predators’ assistant coach Brent Petersen, the Legends Golf Course in Franklin was host to a celebrity benefit golf tournament Thursday as a kickoff to a stem cell awareness symposium this weekend. Petersen, along with numerous Predators and other sports figures showed up for the sold-out event. The assistant Predators coach was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease four years ago, an illness that many researchers feel could benefit greatly from stem cell treatment.
