I cook mainly vegetarian meals at home. Sometimes I have salmon, and rarely leg of lamb, which I adore, but feel very guilty eating. Often eat canned tuna.

I'm crazy about veggies and grains and lentils and beans and fruit. I've been cooking chick peas in a slow cooker. I eat them whole, in a dish with onions, apples, lemon juice, raisins, garlic; and I also make hummus from them.

I love eating hummus with apples or grapes. It's such a treat for me, I'm nuts about it. I use lots of garlic and lemon juice. Minute Maid has frozen lemon juice in a plastic bottle that I keep frozen; I microwave the bottle to thaw what I need.

I like whole wheat couscous because it cooks so fast.

I eat alot of soup. I often make egg drop soup with veggies. Yolk fell in the soup once (instead of all whites), and I loved it, so now I use the whole egg.
