Default seeing a Neuro every

six months is the standard however mine sees me ten weeks after the introduction of any new drug, (not changes to the dosage).

If she is frail or the latest drug combination is making her worse then she should see her Neuro asap.

Neil.

Default reassessment of her medications?

Lynn,
I’m so pleased for you and your Mum -- that the lines of communication are opening up. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, her or your Dad calling her neurologist’s nurse simply stating that she is not doing as well as we expected and could the doc see her for a reassessment of her medications? The 6 month spacing of appointments is for maintenance, when things are going swimmingly. If your car was slipping in performance I suspect you’d take it in right away for repair. Please let us know how she gets along. All the best. Guy
