I personally thought this subject -jumped off the page!
now if you think its silly and want to dimiss this - it is actually old chinese accupressure / accupunture -clearing the energy field called by some "Chakras" the electrical energy the runs through the body...have you ever heard of : "Walt Whitman's poem... I sing the body electric." well if any of you have experience with being an "Electrician" or any job dealing with cicuitry you will realize if the energy does not flow, it blows the switch or it can cause the lightbulbs in the fixture to turn on and off? think about - On and Off? I have been recently told by a couple of very nice paramedics -that they do not exactly know the reason - our dopamine helps us... I told tham that dopamine is our happy chemical, and that many PD patients have anxiety or depression, and add stress, etc. and they thought that was a great insight. think about unresolved relationships in your life give this a try - do you have a few minutes that may change your life? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El1AKD55FB8

Tena - James Surmeier's Parkinson's research at Northwestern (he's the guy who has shown results with the blood pressure medication) is all about blocked electrical flow between synapsis.
You could be on to something!

I don't use it as much as I should, but I have used it enough to respect it and I have seen some dramatic results for other people (my wife in particular).
It is the work of an engineer who several years ago decided he would go through the New Age jungle and find the things that actually seemed to work. EFT is the result and is strictly empirical ("It works!") with no explanations offered. It is simple and everyone is urged to try it on different things and report back to the EFT website. Admittedly it attracts a lot of attention from the "periphery" but that has nothing to do with whether or not it works. Regarding the "subtle" energies in our bodies, I recently read a paper about how we heal a wound. It seems that an injury results in a release of calcium ions into the damaged area. Ions bear an electrical charge. That charge serves as a "battle flag" to cause the various white blood cells to flood the area to defend and heal. We are each a miracle.

I used it for my first round of repetitive strain injury, and it did help.
But due to a computer crash I lost the info for a few yrs, just found it again this year but haven't used it for anything yet. I really should just use it again for a few different things. here's the link to the one I used - It has a free PDF download to get you started if you are interested- http://www.emofree.com/
